You can watch a video here, that I made last year, talking about what Learning Disability Pride is, ideas for how you can celebrate and ways people have done this in the past.

Though I have been leading on Learning Disability Pride for some time, I do not own it and I would really like people to use it as a way to celebrate in lots of different ways and make it their own.

As a leader in self-advocacy, I am very passionate about it as it is all about being proud to have a learning disability.

But I would really like it if a self-advocacy group might consider taking the lead on it in the future.
I would be more than happy to still help support.
I just feel it is something that should be ran by other self-advocates, more than just myself.

While Learning Disability England fully supports me with this personal project and stand behind Learning Disability Pride they agree it must be run by and for people with learning disabilities.
