We have written this blog because we want to remind everyone that how we talk about people matters. The words we use make a difference to how people see people each other. Sometimes we hear people with learning disabilities talked about as if they are different to everyone else or even dangerous.

Me and my personal assistant from Learning Disability England attended their launch event this week where they announced who came in the top 10.
The Louder Voice programme brings together people with learning disabilities and/or autism and families.
Me, Liz Wilson and Wendy Burt from Dimensions gave a short presentation at this year’s open university in Milton Keynes on the louder voices programme.
